	To study & observe nature and behaviour of slurry/wet cake.
	To decide the operating temperature range for achieving final product properties.
	To decide feasibility of suitable drying process and to study the effect of temperature on product properties.
	To decides the "DOS" & "DONT's" in production plant based on material behaviour during pilot plant trials.

Availability of final moisture content analysis and particle size facilities ensures that pilot trials can be conducted at various parameters to decide optimum design parameters.
